A vessel safety check is provided free to recreational boaters to
help ensure that
a vessel meets both federal and state requirements. And to help
assure a boater that his
boat has the proper equipment to keep him safe on the water in event
of an emergency.
Some if the items checked for are:
Life Jackets
Documentation
Navigation Lights
Fire Extinguishers
And much more
These items are currently Required by federal law to be on
vessels and failure to have this equipment may result in a
a citation issued by the United States Coast Guard. This check will
help you know that your ok to boat.
